Job Description:

• Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain physical server, storage, and network infrastructure, including rack, stack, and cable management.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular system updates, backups, and physical inspections. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and network issues to ensure high availability.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance and capacity, using tools to optimize data center operations and prevent downtime.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Manage inventory, track assets, and coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures. 
   

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of server hardware (Dell, HP), networking protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of data center electrical and cooling systems.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic skills to handle high-pressure troubleshooting.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment (often up to 25+ lbs), manage cabling, and perform manual installation tasks.
