Responsibilities

Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, train, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Manage task delegation, performance, and hiring recommendations.
Network Operations: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, and cloud connectivity solutions. Oversee routine maintenance, capacity planning, and optimization.
Security & Compliance: Enforce organizational cybersecurity policies. Manage the deployment and tuning of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection. Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage disaster recovery protocols.
Incident & Change Management: Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex network and security incidents. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and oversee change management processes.
Architecture & Documentation: Review and develop High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and Scope of Work (SOW) documents. Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date network diagrams and IT policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
Experience: 8–10 years of hands-on enterprise networking and cybersecurity experience, combined with 3–5 years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
Technical Proficiencies: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and VPNs. Extensive experience with major networking and security vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
