Responsibilities

Testing & Inspection: Execute product inspections, routine quality checks, and analytical testing on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality management systems like ISO 9001.
Defect Management: Investigate reports of product defects, conduct root cause analyses, and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain laboratory records, inspection workflows, problem logs, and track quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure supplier quality control.

Typical Requirements & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related scientific field (e.g., B.Pharm, Mechanical Engineering, or Production Engineering).
Experience: Typically 0.5 to 5+ years of experience in quality management or laboratory functions, particularly in manufacturing, pharma, or FMCG sectors.
Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with quality tools (6-sigma, PPAP, 7QC tools) and compliance standards (GMP/GLP).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
