Responsibilities

Payroll Processing: Calculate employee earnings, bonuses, and deductions (tax, benefits) accurately, using payroll software to process payments.
Compliance & Tax: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including filing payroll tax returns and reporting.
Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate payroll records, timesheets, and employee salary records.
Administration & Communication: Act as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and coordinate with HR regarding personnel changes.
Auditing: Perform regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in payroll administration or related accounting fields.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Keka, Sage) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Accuracy: High level of attention to detail to ensure error-free data processing.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws and tax regulations.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle employee inquiries.
