Job Description:

• Design and Implementation: Develop, configure, and install routers, switches, access points, and firewalls (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus).
• Routing and Switching Management: Configure VLANs, STP, VTP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS to maintain efficient data traffic.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide L2/L3 support for network outages, latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues.
• Network Security: Implement firewalls, VPNs, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to ensure network integrity.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark) to monitor performance and optimize WAN/LAN performance.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on network configurations, diagrams, and inventory. 
   

• Hardware: Cisco routers (ASR/ISR), switches (Catalyst/Nexus), and firewall appliances (ASA/Firepower).
• Protocols: Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, STP, VTP, and TCP/IP.
• Technologies: Experience with SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS), and Wireless Controllers.
• Tools: Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
• Scripting: Basic automation skills with Python or Ansible are increasingly preferred 
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication for documentation and teamwork.
