Job Description:

Key Job Roles and Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware (laptops, printers) and software issues for end-users.
  • System Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and updating operating systems, applications, and security patches (e.g., anti-virus)
    .
Network Support: Monitoring and maintaining Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and VPN connections to ensure uptime.
User Account Management: Setting up new user accounts, profiles, and managing permissions in Active Directory.
Documentation & Ticketing: Logging all requests in a ticketing system, documenting solutions, and creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Infrastructure Support: Assisting with server, printer, and phone system installations, as well as maintaining hardware inventory.
Security Compliance: Ensuring data security, monitoring for breaches, and implementing password management policies.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows, macOS, and Linux; experience with Microsoft Office, networking protocols, and Active Directory.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are highly valued.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
