Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Risk Mitigation: Perform hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA), and job hazard analyses (JHA).
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) and lead internal/external audits.
  • Incident Investigation:
     Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety, health, and environmental training to employees.
Emergency Planning: Develop, maintain, and test emergency response plans, including fire drills and evacuations.
Environmental Monitoring: Oversee waste management, hazardous materials handling, and environmental impact assessments
Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary contact for regulatory authorities and maintain compliance documentation.
 
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, or safety field), or a related scientific field.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC or diploma, IOSH, or related certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in HSE roles, particularly in construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, technical writing, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
