Responsibilities of an HR Officer

Recruitment & Staffing: Identify staff needs, draft job descriptions, post advertisements, and manage the interview process to select candidates.
Onboarding & Training: Conduct employee onboarding, introduce company policies, and organize training and development activities.
Payroll & Benefits: Assist in payroll processing and administer employee benefits, such as health insurance.
Performance & Policy Management: Oversee performance appraisals, handle disciplinary procedures, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
Employee Relations & Welfare: Act as the first point of contact for staff queries, handle grievances, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date employee records, including attendance and leave.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Usually requires 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and health and safety regulations.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills.
