Responsibilities

Diagnostics: Perform comprehensive oral exams, interpret X-rays, and diagnose oral diseases or issues.
Restorative Care: Perform fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, and simple extractions to restore functionality.
Preventative Services: Clean teeth, remove plaque/tartar, and apply sealants or fluoride to prevent decay.
Treatment Planning: Develop personalized oral health plans for patients.
Emergency Care: Treat acute oral pain, infections, or toothaches.
Patient Education: Advise patients on oral hygiene, proper brushing/flossing techniques, and diet.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and adhere to health regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from an accredited school.
Licensure: Valid state license to practice dentistry.
Experience: Previous clinical experience is often preferred, but new graduates can fill many roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern dental tools, diagnostic imaging, and dental software.
Soft Skills: Strong patient management, compassion, and communication skills.
