Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Analyze Documents: Review architectural drawings, blueprints, scopes of work, and technical specifications.
Calculate Quantities: Perform material take-offs (MTOs) and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Cost Assessment: Estimate direct and indirect costs, including labor hours, raw materials, shipping, and equipment rentals.
Vendor Coordination: Request quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, then compare bids for the best rates.
Risk & Value Engineering: Identify potential cost overruns and propose alternative, budget-friendly design or material choices.
Proposal Preparation: Assemble and submit final tender bids and cost reports to management or clients. 
Requirements & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in blueprints reading, math, and software like AutoCAD, MS Excel, or specialized estimation tools.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, and communication.
