DEMATOLOGY SPECIALIST

Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Assessment: Evaluate complex dermatological issues, review medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
  • Diagnostics & Surgery: Order laboratory tests, collect specimens for biopsies, and perform minor surgical procedures such as mole removals or scar revisions. 
  • Medical Treatments: Prescribe topical and systemic medications (e.g., for acne, eczema, psoriasis) and perform therapies like cryotherapy or phototherapy. 
  • Cosmetic Procedures: Provide aesthetic services including chemical peels, microneedling, laser hair reduction, and injectable anti-aging treatments. 
  • Patient Education: Counsel patients on preventive skin care, proper sun protection, and treatment expectations. 
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and make referrals to other specialists. 
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Medical degree (MBBS) followed by a postgraduate specialization such as an MD, DNB, or DVD in Dermatology.
  • Licensing: Valid medical registration and license to practice in the jurisdiction.
  • Clinical Skills: Proficient diagnostic skills and hands-on experience in dermatologic surgery and cosmetic treatments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to clearly explain complex medical and cosmetic procedures to patients.
