Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Direct daily air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and multimodal freight operations to ensure on-time delivery. 
Vendor & Network Relations: Build and manage relationships with shipping lines, custom house agents (CHA), transporters, and international partners. 
Cost & Rate Negotiation: Negotiate spot and long-term freight rates to optimize shipping costs and reduce overhead. 
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to customs regulations, international trade laws, Incoterms, and documentation (Bill of Lading, LC compliance). 
Team Leadership: Lead departmental teams, drive performance metrics (KPIs), and coordinate with sales and finance departments. 
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or Commerce.
Experience: 5 to 12+ years of progressive experience in international freight forwarding, supply chain, or operations.
Skills: Strong knowledge of ocean/air freight, customs clearing procedures, Incoterms, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Competencies: Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication abilities.
