Job Description:

• Strategy Development: Create and implement trade marketing plans aligned with overall brand goals to increase product demand and visibility within retail channels.
• Retail & Promotional Planning: Design and execute in-store promotional activities, such as seasonal campaigns, loyalty programs, and eye-catching point-of-sale (POS) displays.
• Channel Management: Lead specific strategies for different retail channels (e.g., supermarkets vs. wholesalers) to optimize shelf space and improve brand presence.
• Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with necessary tools, such as trade decks, product samples, and data insights, to effectively pitch to retailers.
• Data Analysis & ROI: Monitor sales trends and competitor activity. Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and manage the trade marketing budget to ensure a high return on investment.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the key point of contact between internal departments (product, finance, and supply chain) and external retail partners. 
   

• Education: Usually requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is sometimes preferred for senior roles.
• Experience: Typically requires 3–5 years of experience in trade, channel, or retail marketing, particularly within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or consumer electronics sectors.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Nielsen/IRI data) and project management software like Asana or Trello.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, project management, and relationship-building abilities are critical for managing various stakeholders.
