Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Track daily stock levels, monitor inventory turnover, and initiate purchase requisitions to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Receiving & Inspecting: Unload incoming deliveries, verify items against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies before signing off.
  • Storage & Organization: Allocate designated storage areas based on item size, weight, or temperature requirements. Implement stock rotation methods like First-In, First-Out (FIFO) to prevent spoilage.
Order Fulfillment & Issuing: Retrieve and dispense requested materials, properly documenting quantities to maintain billing and inventory accuracy.Documentation & Auditing: Maintain accurate digital and physical records (bin cards, store ledgers) and conduct periodic physical inventory audits.Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 
Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • Core Skills: Proficiency in inventory management, record-keeping, and basic mathematics.
  • Technical: Familiarity with inventory control systems, Point of Sale (POS) software, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
  • Physical: Ability to lift heavy objects and operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts or pallet jacks).
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and staff.
