Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Inventory Receiving & Inspection: Receive, upload, and inspect incoming supplies for damage or discrepancies against purchase orders.
  • Storage & Organization: Label, price, and organize materials efficiently to ensure safe custody and easy access
    .
Inventory Control: Perform regular physical stock counts, reconcile with software records, and manage stock rotation (FIFO) to avoid spoilage.Issuing & Logistics: Issue materials based on authorized requests and prepare items for shipping or transport.Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation (MRR - Material Received Report), prepare monthly inventory reports, and report damaged/expired items.Safety & Maintenance: Keep the store clean, neat, and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations.Coordination: Coordinate with purchasing/procurement teams to replenish stocks when levels are low.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse supervisor, or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and inventory software/systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy goods and stock.
