Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical counts, and reconcile any discrepancies with digital or ledger records.
  • Receiving & Inspecting: Unload incoming deliveries, verify items against purchase orders, and inspect goods for damage or defects before logging them.
  • Storage & Organization: Allocate designated storage locations, apply inventory rotation methods like FIFO (First-In, First-Out), and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
Dispatching & Issuing: Accurately pick, pack, and issue materials to respective departments or clients based on approved requisitions.
Documentation: Generate Material Received Reports (MRR), update bin cards, and initiate purchase requisitions to replenish low stock.
Safety & Security: Restrict unauthorized access to the storeroom and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Key Skills & Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail to track thousands of products accurately.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and barcode scanners.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, operate material-handling equipment (e.g., forklifts or pallet jacks), and stand for long periods.
  • Communication: Clear coordination with procurement teams, suppliers, and other departments to prevent production delays.
