Job Description:
Responsibilities
Routine Inspections: Check buildings, grounds, and critical infrastructure for damage, wear, or safety hazards.
System Monitoring: Review operations of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local building codes, fire standards, and health regulations.
Vendor Supervision: Oversee outside contractors and evaluate service quality for repairs or soft services like cleaning and security.
Reporting: Document findings with detailed logs, photos, and status reports for management.
Required Qualifications
Education: Diploma or degree in civil engineering, electrical/mechanical systems, or facility management.
Experience: 2 to 5 years in building maintenance, construction inspection, or property operations.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of building codes, blueprint reading, and computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).
Soft Skills: Strong observation, communication, and vendor-negotiation skills.
