Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Supervision & Setting Out: Measuring, marking, and leveling, as well as checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy.
  • Site Management: Coordinating on-site activities, managing subcontractors, and directing laborers
    .
Quality Assurance (QA): Inspecting work to ensure it meets engineering standards, design specifications, and building regulations.
Problem-Solving: Providing solutions for unexpected technical difficulties or site issues.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations on site.
Documentation & Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project managers and clients.
Resource Coordination: Managing materials, plant, and equipment to ensure efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or construction-related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using surveying instruments (e.g., total station, levels), and CAD software.
  • Project Management: Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management software.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with architects, clients, and contractors.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and navigate uneven terrain.
