Job Description:

• Cost Management: Prepare, analyze, and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow.
• Commercial Management: Manage all contractual relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to protect company interests.
• Procurement: Oversee tender processes, analyze subcontractor quotations, and prepare sub-contract orders.
• Valuations & Claims: Certify subcontractor works, process payments, and prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Variations & Risk: Identify, value, and negotiate changes (variations) to the scope of work.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly cost-value reconciliations and report performance to senior management.
• Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and monitor the performance of junior quantity surveyors. 
   

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Substantial experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, typically within a contracting or consulting environment.
• Skills: Strong understanding of construction technology, building contract law, and proficiency in financial management software.
• Commercial Acumen: Ability to maximize value and minimize cost.
• Negotiation: Expert negotiation skills for handling subcontractor and client accounts.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in measurement and documentation.
