Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Evaluation: Identify, assess, and qualify reliable vendors and global manufacturers.
Technical Review: Analyze engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure purchases match project requirements.
Bidding & Negotiation: Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs), conduct commercial and technical bid comparisons, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
Order Management: Issue purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and resolve supply chain or logistics bottlenecks.
Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives, perform spend analyses, and optimize procurement budgets.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work alongside design, project management, finance, and quality assurance teams.
Mentorship: Guide and support junior procurement team members.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related technical discipline).
Experience: 5 to 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of ERP systems, with strong preference for SAP and advanced data tools.
