Job Description:

• Material Selection & Specification: Research and select materials for specific applications, preparing Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC) and Material Purchase Specifications (MPS).
• Testing & Quality Control: Oversee laboratory testing, failure analysis, and root cause investigation to ensure materials meet standards and quality requirements.
• Process Development: Optimize manufacturing processes (e.g., molding, welding, heat treatment) for better material performance and reduced cost.
• Compliance & Technical Authority: Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (e.g., API, NACE) and act as the technical authority for material-related issues.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, documentation, and data analysis for projects, including Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Lead project scopes, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams. 
   

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Typically 5–10+ years of experience in engineering, research, or development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/CAE software (e.g., PVELITE, COMPRESS), data analysis, and material characterization techniques.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
