SALES MANAGER-CYBER SECURITY

Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new enterprise-level accounts through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Sales Lifecycle Management: Own the entire sales process from initial qualification and solution shaping to proposal development, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional or vertical-specific sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives (CIOs, CISOs, CTOs) and IT decision-makers.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, tailoring cybersecurity solutions (e.g., SOC, SIEM, Firewall, Cloud Security) to address specific client pain points.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline (often targeted at 3x–4x coverage) and provide accurate sales forecasts using CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales architects, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure technical compliance and successful service handover.
     
 
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Typically requires 5–12 years of experience in B2B technology sales, with a strong focus on cybersecurity or managed security services (MSSP).
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and technologies such as Zero Trust, EDR/XDR, SASE, and IAM.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate technical jargon into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
