Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision: Inspect daily construction work to verify alignment with approved blueprints and technical specs.
Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate between clients, general contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Quality & Safety Control: Check building materials, monitor site safety, and record errors or incidents.
Progress & Budget Tracking: Manage project schedules, review contractor payment estimates, and handle change orders.
Documentation: Maintain field reports, logs, and official correspondence files. 
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Experience: Several years of hands-on field or project experience. Opinions on Reddit are mixed regarding experience levels; some regions treat it as a senior role requiring a professional license (PE), while others accept early-career engineers.
Licensure: Professional engineering license or certification depending on local laws. 
Essential Skills
Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of engineering principles and blueprint reading.
