Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Monitor vital signs, note symptom changes, and perform head-to-toe clinical assessments.
Medications & Treatments: Administer oral drugs, IV fluids, and injections safely while watching for adverse reactions.
Care Planning: Create, update, and implement individual nursing care plans alongside the medical team.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records for every shift.
Education: Teach patients and families about post-discharge care, medicines, and disease prevention.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure: Active, unencumbered state or national Registered Nurse license.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and often Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Skills: Strong critical thinking, active communication, and ability to use hospital computer systems.
