Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the hotel.
– Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
– Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE tax regulations, and company financial policies.
– Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger.
– Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
– Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
– Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
– Monitor operating costs and recommend cost-control initiatives.
– Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of required reports.
– Maintain accurate financial records and support statutory compliance.
– Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and payment vouchers.
– Ensure proper inventory and asset accounting in coordination with operational departments.
– Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes.
– Supervise, train, and mentor the accounting team while ensuring high performance.
– Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA) is an advantage.
– Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
– Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE tax regulations, and hotel accounting practices is preferred.
– Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
– Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
– High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
