Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Quality Planning & Compliance: Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Systems (QMS), method statements, and inspection checklists.
  • Inspections & Testing: Perform routine site or product inspections, oversee material testing, and verify that construction or manufacturing strictly follows engineering drawings. 
  • Documentation & Reporting: Manage essential paperwork like Work Inspection Requests (WIR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and calibration certificates. 
  • Defect Management: Identify deviations, issue internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and supervise corrective actions to ensure proper close-out.
  • Auditing & Coordination: Conduct internal quality audits and serve as the liaison between the site crew, contractors, and consultants/clients.
Essential Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or Quality Assurance. 
  • Experience: Typically 2 to 8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within relevant industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas). 
  • Certifications: Industry-standard credentials such as ISO 9001 internal auditor certification, NDT Level II (for mechanical/welding), or AWS/CSWIP are highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, proficiency in reading technical blueprints, and familiarity with ERP systems or quality software.
