Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and implementing daily, weekly, or monthly production schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines.
- Operational Supervision: Monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency, identifying bottlenecks, and taking corrective action to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Enforcing quality standards, inspecting products, and addressing quality-related issues to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Staff Management and Training: Allocating tasks, managing shifts, training employees on new procedures, and maintaining discipline on the floor.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., OHSA) and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
- Inventory and Resource Management: Managing raw material consumption, coordinating with supply chain staff, and ensuring adequate materials are available to prevent production delays.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conducting regular machinery inspections and coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining production logs, tracking performance metrics, and reporting on daily output to management.
