Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, vet, and select reliable suppliers and vendors that match project needs.
Technical Evaluation: Review engineering specifications to ensure purchased parts and machinery meet exact operational standards.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms to secure the best value within budget.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, design teams, and site engineers to forecast material needs.
Order Tracking and Logistics: Oversee purchase orders, monitor shipping schedules, and handle delivery or quality discrepancies.
Vendor Performance Management: Track supplier reliability, quality consistency, and adherence to safety or legal rules.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
Experience: Prior background in industrial procurement, supply chain, or construction/EPC projects.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and complex product specifications.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical problem-solving, and communication abilities.
