Job Description:

Responsibilities
Sourcing & Tendering: Float Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for concrete, steel, rebar, aggregates, and heavy machinery.
Technical Evaluation: Match vendor bids against civil structural specifications, engineering designs, and quality standards.
Cost Negotiation: Analyze commercial rates, run price comparisons, and negotiate favorable payment terms with suppliers.
Order Management: Issue formal Purchase Orders (POs) and track material logistics directly to project sites.
Vendor Tracking: Monitor supplier delivery performance, resolve site discrepancies, and update approved vendor lists. 
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Experience: 3 to 6+ years of field or purchasing experience within real estate, infrastructure, or EPC sectors.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of civil construction materials, BOQ breakdown, and structural blueprints.
Software: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and enterprise procurement tools like SAP.
Soft Skills: Strong commercial awareness, conflict resolution, and supplier negotiation abilities.
