Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and process employee pay, bonuses, and commissions using HRIS/payroll software.
- Data Accuracy: Review timecards, timesheets, and attendance records to ensure accurate data entry
.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including payroll taxes and wage garnishments.
Discrepancy Resolution: Address payroll inquiries and resolve pay issues for employees.
Reporting: Generate reports for management, auditing, and tax purposes.
Record Keeping: Maintain strict confidentiality and update employee payroll files.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar accounting role.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Payforce) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong computational skills for calculating deductions and taxes.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
