Job Description:

• Payroll Processing: Calculate net pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments) accurately and on time.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and employment laws.
• General Ledger & Reporting: Update payroll files in the general ledger, reconcile payroll accounts, and prepare financial reports.
• Employee Management: Manage paid/unpaid leaves, address employee queries regarding pay, and maintain confidentiality.
• Audit & Administration: Assist with audits, manage tax filings (W-2s, 1099s), and maintain up-to-date employee records. 
   

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of general accounting principles, payroll taxes, and regulations.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strict discretion with confidential data.
