Job Description:

• Clinical Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat breast diseases, including managing symptomatic and screen-detected cancers.
• Surgical Procedures: Perform therapeutic mammoplasty, sentinel node biopsies, axillary clearance, and immediate breast reconstruction.
• Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Working: Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to guide cancer treatment plans.
• Patient Counseling: Provide pre- and post-operative care, explaining risks, options, and reconstruction possibilities.
• Leadership & Development: Lead service improvements, participate in clinical audits, research, and mentor junior staff. 
   

• Qualifications: Full General Medical Council (GMC) registration, on the Specialist Register for General Surgery (or within 6 months of CCT).
• Experience: Extensive experience in breast surgery, including oncoplasty and reconstructive techniques.
• Skills: Expertise in oncoplastic techniques, excellent communication, and the ability to lead within a team.
