Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Material Development & Selection: Creating new materials and selecting appropriate materials for products to meet performance, cost, and safety requirements.
  • Testing & Analysis: Performing, simulating, and analyzing tests (tensile, fatigue, corrosion, metallography) to evaluate material performance under various conditions
    .
Failure Analysis: Investigating material failures to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Process Improvement: Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes like welding, casting, forging, and coating.
Quality Control & Compliance: Overseeing quality assurance and ensuring materials meet industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, AMS).
Documentation: Generating technical reports, specifications, and maintaining data in PLM or ERP systems.
 
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of material properties, structure, and manufacturing processes.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD, simulation tools, and data analysis software (e.g., Excel).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
