Job Description:

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain physical and cloud-based infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and device fleets.
• Service & Support Delivery: Manage the IT help desk and technical support teams, ensuring that incidents are resolved quickly and that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor IT professionals, including support technicians and system engineers.
• Operational Security & Compliance: Implement security measures, manage backups, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations like GDPR.
• Vendor & Budget Management: Negotiate contracts with external service providers and manage the departmental budget to optimize technology investments.
• Project Oversight: Lead IT initiatives, such as system upgrades, cloud migrations, and the rollout of new software or hardware across the organization. 
   

• Experience: Typically requires 5–8 years in IT support or technical operations, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is standard.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Key Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform under pressure during critical system outages.
