Job Description:

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware (servers, laptops, networks) and software applications.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff, including system administrators and support specialists, while conducting performance appraisals.
• Security & Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity measures, manage data backups, and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the annual IT budget, negotiate with third-party vendors for hardware/software procurement, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Project Delivery: Plan and execute major IT projects, such as system migrations, software rollouts, and hardware upgrades, within specified timelines and budgets.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and develop long-term roadmaps for digital transformation.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime during crises. 

• Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. A Master's degree (like an MBA in Information Systems) is often preferred for senior roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of network architecture (LAN/WAN), server administration (Windows/Linux), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity protocols.
• Managerial Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and handle complex project management.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
