Job Description:

• System Design & Architecture: Planning and building scalable system architectures using a mix of on-premises, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid technologies.
• Infrastructure Management: Installing, configuring, and maintaining physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux), storage (SAN/NAS), and network components.
• Automation: Writing custom scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks like server provisioning, backups, and patching.
• Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitoring system health and identifying bottlenecks using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Grafana to maintain 99.9% uptime.
• Security & Compliance: Implementing firewalls, access controls (Active Directory/IAM), and encryption while ensuring systems meet regulatory standards like SOC 2 or PCI DSS.
• Disaster Recovery: Developing and testing backup strategies and business continuity plans to ensure rapid data recovery in case of failure.
• Technical Support: Providing L2/L3 escalation support for complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by standard helpdesk teams. 
   

• Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Windows Server (Active Directory, GPO) and Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) administration.
• Cloud & Virtualization: Proficiency in VMware/Hyper-V and cloud-native services (EC2, VPC, S3).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for managing modern application environments.
