Job Description:
Responsibilities
Patient Consultations: Assess, diagnose, and treat both acute and chronic illnesses via in-person, phone, or telehealth appointments.
Preventative Care & Screening: Administer vaccinations, conduct routine physical exams, and promote healthy lifestyle choices to prevent disease.
Care Coordination: Act as a central point of care by referring patients to specialists or allied health professionals and tracking their overall health history.
Minor Procedures: Perform basic clinical tests and minor surgical procedures when required.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient medical records, review test results, and issue prescriptions or medical certificates.
Core Competencies & Skills
Diagnostic acumen: Ability to assess and solve problems across a broad spectrum of medical conditions.
Communication: Excellent bedside manner with the ability to explain complex medical diagnoses clearly and empathetically.
Time Management: Efficiency in managing busy schedules and triaging urgent patient needs.
