Responsibilities

General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and perform accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare timely financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, cash flow reports, and balance sheets.
Transaction Management: Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring vendor invoices and client payments are processed correctly.
Compliance & Auditing: Assist with statutory audits by liaising with internal and external auditors. Ensure transactions and tax filings comply with local, state, and federal tax laws.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support management in the annual budgeting process, variance analysis, and financial forecasting

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., B.Com or M.Com in India, or equivalent). Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly valued.

Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5 years of proven experience in general accounting, corporate finance, or auditing.
Hard Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience using accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Xero.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and high ethical standards.
