Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Strategy: Defining event goals,, creating project timelines, and developing detailed plans.
- Budgeting & Financials: Establishing and adhering to budgets, including cost reduction and contract negotiations.
- Logistics & Vendor Management:
Researching and booking venues, managing caterers, AV teams, and other suppliers.
On-site Supervision: Managing day-of operations, coordinating staff, and solving problems in real-time.
Marketing & Communication: Coordinating invitations, promotional activities, and speaker management.
Post-Event Evaluation: Analyzing success, handling invoicing, and preparing final reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as an event planner, manager, or in a similar role.
- Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for negotiating and client liaison.
- Tools: Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office, or CRM tools.
