Job Description:

• Compliance & Reporting: Monitor adherence to local and international environmental legislation, ensuring all permits and licenses are valid.
• Inspections & Audits: Conduct site visits, environmental monitoring (water, air, waste), and audits to detect potential issues, such as pollution or hazardous leaks.
• Waste Management: Develop and implement strategies for proper hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, including disposal and recycling.
• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Prepare and review documents for new projects to evaluate environmental risk, such as EIAs and Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE).
• Training & Education: Provide environmental awareness training to staff and contractors on safe handling of materials and emergency procedures.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential environmental hazards and implement measures to reduce risks and liabilities. 
   

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is generally required.
• Experience: Often requires prior experience in environmental compliance, auditing, or management, typically around 2 years or more.
• Skills: Strong understanding of environmental regulations, proficiency in reporting and data analysis, and excellent communication skills for training and reporting.
