Responsibilities
- Planning & Scheduling: Creating detailed schedules, defining project milestones, and establishing timelines for completion.
- Budgeting & Cost Management: Preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring the project remains profitable.
- Site Management & Supervision: Overseeing day-to-day operations on site, managing workers and subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Communication & Reporting: Providing progress updates to clients and coordinating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Addressing unexpected delays, emergencies, or design changes (change orders) immediately to keep the project on track.
Key Skills
- Leadership & Delegation: Managing teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Technical Knowledge: Reading, interpreting, and applying engineering drawings and building methods.
- Analytical Thinking: Reviewing contracts and resolving complex site problems.
