Responsibilities

Site Inspections: Perform routine on-site inspections of architectural finishes, facades, waterproofing, partitions, ceilings, and doors to verify alignment with design intent.
Document Review: Analyze construction documents, shop drawings, and technical specifications to identify discrepancies before or during construction.
Quality Assurance: Evaluate the quality of materials and workmanship against approved standards and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) when necessary.
Reporting: Maintain detailed daily site logs, track inspection requests (RFIs/WIRs), photograph project progress, and compile punch/snag lists.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise between architects, project engineers, and contractors to quickly resolve design-related issues and mitigate cost or time impacts.

Core Requirements

Education & Experience: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, alongside hands-on experience in construction quality control.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of local building codes, zoning laws, and proficiency in reviewing design schematics.
Communication: Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and enforce regulatory standards.
