Job Description:
Responsibilities
System Design: Plan and install automated greenhouse irrigation, fertigation, misting, and advanced drainage systems.
Climate Control: Monitor and adjust ventilation, heating, cooling, and shading systems to optimize microclimates for young plants and saplings.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the operation, repair, and calibration of nursery machinery, potting machines, and seeders.
Resource Efficiency: Implement smart technologies (IoT sensors) to track water consumption, fertilizer usage, and energy efficiency.
Process Optimization: Research and execute technical improvements for propagation, root development, and transplanting workflows.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure facility operations match environmental laws, worker safety rules, and biosecurity standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biological Engineering, or Horticulture.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, automated control systems, and data analysis tools.
