Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Invoice Management: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, matching them to purchase orders and ensuring proper authorization.
  • Payment Processing: Execute payments (checks, electronic transfers) to vendors, ensuring compliance with payment terms and company policy
    .
Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and credit card transactions to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date vendor files and financial records for audit purposes.
Communication: Handle vendor inquiries regarding payments and liaise with internal departments to resolve disputes.
Reporting: Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and preparing AP reports.
Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Generally 2+ years in accounts payable or similar accounting roles.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
