Job Description:

• Invoicing & Billing: Generate, review, and send accurate invoices, credit memos, and statements to customers in a timely manner.
• Payment Processing: Post incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to the correct customer accounts, ensuring accurate ledger maintenance.
• Collections Management: Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments, initiate collections contact, and resolve billing disputes.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger with the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly aging reports to track outstanding balances and forecasting future cash flows.
• Credit Administration: Evaluate new client creditworthiness, establish credit limits, and monitor changes in payment behavior.
• Customer Service: Act as the primary contact for client questions regarding invoices and account balances. 
   

• Experience: Proven experience (often 2+ years) as an AR clerk, specialist, or in a similar accounting role.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables).
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and professional communication abilities.
