Job Description:
Responsibilities
Depending on the specific department, the day-to-day duties generally include:
- Sales & Marketing: Promoting pharmaceutical products to doctors and chemists, organizing product seminars, and meeting business development targets.
- Quality Control & Assurance (QC/QA): Sampling raw materials, testing finished goods, and assisting with instrument calibration and documentation.
- Research & Development (R&D): Assisting in method development, executing formulation batches, and preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Retail & Operations: Coordinating daily workflow in a pharmacy setting, managing inventory, and providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Requirements
- Education: Usually a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Chemistry, or a related science field.
- Skills Needed: Strong verbal and written communication, basic business analysis, teamwork, and an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
