Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Transportation & Route Planning: Coordinate the efficient movement of goods, select carriers, and optimize routing to reduce transit times and shipping costs. 
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with transporters, 3PL/4PL providers, and freight forwarders while monitoring their service quality. 
  • Inventory & Warehousing Oversight: Monitor stock levels, manage warehouse dispatch schedules, and ensure seamless inventory tracking. 
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure shipments comply with international trade laws, customs procedures, and transport regulations. Performance Tracking: Generate regular Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to track logistics performance and identify areas for continuous improvement. 
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Commerce.
  • Experience: Typically 4 to 8+ years of proven experience in supply chain, transportation management, or warehousing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and advanced MS Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Sharp negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and crisis management skills to handle unexpected supply chain delays.
