Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Quality Management Systems (QMS): Implement and oversee quality frameworks. Handle Quality events such as Deviations, Out-of-Specification (OOS) reports, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Compliance & Audits: Prepare for and support internal, external, and regulatory inspections (e.g., USFDA, ISO, or NABH/NABL). Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and data integrity principles.
- Document Control: Review and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, validation protocols, and testing specifications.
- Process Improvement: Analyze quality metrics, conduct gap assessments, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and analyst errors.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise quality control/assurance staff to ensure alignment with established safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Healthcare Management, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience: Typically 3 to 8 years of core quality assurance or quality control experience, depending on the specific industry (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, or Healthcare).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory guidelines (e.g., cGMP, ICH, ISO standards) and hands-on experience using relevant lab or quality management software (LIMS, SAP, QMS).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, and clear cross-functional communication.
