Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare financial reports (P&L, Trial Balance).
- Taxation & Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance, including filing GST returns, managing TDS/TCS, and assisting with audits.
- Accounts Supervision: Oversee and review the work of junior accountants or clerks.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and cost analysis to reduce expenses and improve revenue.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (MBA, B.Com).
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience as an accountant or senior accounts executive.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting packages (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations.
- Soft Skills: High detail-orientation, strong analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.
