Job Description:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Ledger Maintenance: Manage general ledger accounts, oversee journal entries, and resolve discrepancies.
• Account Reconciliation: Complete complex monthly bank, balance sheet, and intercompany account reconciliations.
• Audit Coordination: Prepare comprehensive documentation for internal and external auditors during annual reviews.
• Budget & Variance Analysis: Analyze actual spending versus corporate budgets to deliver detailed variance commentary.
• Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation and filing of local, state, federal, or corporate tax returns.
• Team Leadership: Plan, assign, and review the daily workflows of junior accountants and bookkeepers.
• Process Optimization: Design and implement internal accounting controls to safeguard financial records and boost efficiency.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related quantitative business discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting or public financial management experience.
• Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is strongly preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel: Mastery of advanced data manipulation tools including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough, up-to-date understanding of GAAP/IFRS guidelines and local corporate tax law.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional quantitative reasoning, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
